William C. HOLVIK, MD
Dr. William C. Holvik opened Holvik Family Health Center to care for the medical, psychological, and emotional needs of adults, children, and infants in Visalia, California. As a family practitioner, his priority is teaching preventive medicine to his patients and continually refining his health care services to meet the needs of people in the community.
Dr. Holvik graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in biological science from the University of California, Davis. He received his Doctor of Medicine from UHS/Chicago Medical School, then went on to complete his internship and residency training in family practice at the University of California, San Diego Division of Medicine, Family Practice. Dr. Holvik is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Before he founded Holvik Family Health Center, Dr. Holvik practiced as a family physician at KSMG Primary Care Medical Group. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Immediate Care Center and Advanced Medical Care Center. He’s also Chairman of the Family Practice Department and serves on diverse committees at Kaweah Delta District Hospital.
Dr. Holvik gives back to the community by serving as an annual sponsor for two exceptional events: the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and Kaweah Delta Health Care District Cardiac Services Program-Heart Spectacular. He also provides community service announcements on the local cable channel and participates in the Children’s Health Faire and the Adult’s Health Faire. Dr. Holvik loves offering medical and training care as Sports Physician for local high school teams.
Dr. Holvik grew up in a small northern California town, where he was a champion wrestler, all-league football player, and an excellent baseball player during his high school years. He’s known as a great physician, a loving father and husband, and as a doctor who cares deeply for his patients.
